About The LRO

The main aims of the LRO partnership are to:

  • Act as the single shared evidence base for Lincolnshire
  • Improve availability and use of key information
  • Raise levels of expertise and capacity among partners
  • Reduce duplication of effort and research fatigue
  • Provide a seamless approach to data provision

What can the LRO do for you?


Through the LRO website you can access intelligence on the population, health, the economy and many other topics. Users can gather and present data using various tools including interactive mapping, and can benefit from a selection of reports, analysis and further information provided by a range of local and national agencies.

There are over 1,000 intelligence reports and 2,000 datasets providing key information on a range of local issues. You can access interactive versions of important documents such as the Local Economic Assessment and Joint Strategic Needs Assessment as well as interactive tools developed especially for you. The LRO encourages sharing of information and produces the robust shared evidence base essential for service planning, targeting of need and effective policy and decision making.
