Fuel Poverty data updated
Latest figures from the Department of Energy and Climate Change indicate Fuel Poverty prevalence increased in Lincolnshire to 19.5% of all households in 2011, an increase of 0.1% compared to 2010.
Although fairly small, the county increase contrasts with the national trend of decreasing Fuel poverty (down nationally from 18.4% in 2009 to 14.6% in 2011). Also, the 2011 increase in Lincolnshire had followed a 4% decrease (from 23.4% in 2009, to 19.4% 2010).
