Firewalls and Browser Privacy Settings (back to menu)

The LRO website requires some information from your web browser when you log in using your personal username and password. This is a security precaution to protect the site from attack by automated systems. Some Firewalls will prevent the required information being sent from your computer, and therefore prevent you from logging in to the site.

To remedy this problem, you may wish to change your Firewall settings in order for this information to be sent. If so, please consult the documentation supplied with your product, or contact your IT department for help with this. Most frequently the “user agent” or “browser identification” (or similar) setting, depending on the software in use, should be changed to “allow”, to permit the sending of browser information. With most Firewalls, it is possible to alter this setting for an individual website.

If you continue to have problems accessing the site please contact us at LRO@lincolnshire.gov.uk or use the ‘contact us’ facility at the top of the visitor homepage
