Commissioning for Lincolnshire

Needs assessment evidence base

The Lincolnshire Research Observatory contains a number of resources to support Lincolnshire County Council Commissioning for Lincolnshire, particularly the strategic needs assessment section of the Analyse phase. A key part of the strategic needs assessment is to understand the future needs of the local population. This will involve assessing current need and using trend analysis and forecasting to estimate future changes in demand.

Use the following resources as a starting point to the evidence base for commissioners. Refer to the Commissioning Strategies section to look at examples of how to use the different aspects of the evidence base, from local intelligence through to more detailed information around specific themes.
