Draft Overview Report 2011 - Your responses |
The JSNA is a systematic review of the health and wellbeing needs of the Lincolnshire’s population leading to agreed priorities that will improve the health and wellbeing of the community at the same time as reducing health inequalities. The Draft Overview Report is a summary of all of the information and commentary which goes to make up our JSNA for Lincolnshire. We would, therefore, be grateful if you could take the opportunity to look at our website in conjunction with reading this report as part of preparing your response to the consultation questions. Please submit your responses by 31st July 2011. |
This is not the first JSNA produced in Lincolnshire but Government are placing the JSNA firmly at the centre of their proposals to improve the health and wellbeing of the population. To support the JSNA we have developed a toolkit which can be viewed alongside this overview report. |

We have attempted to improve the level of engagement with the community and partners as part of improving our JSNA this year. As such we have increased our directory of people interested in the JSNA from 60 to over 300 people. We have also held workshops and set up monthly newsletters to keep people informed of progress. |

The information provided in this report is presented as an overarching summary of the more detailed commentary which we received as part of producing the JSNA this year. As such we would expect this document to work as a stand alone report for those who wish to see a summary with the background commentaries and data available via the JSNA Toolkit for those who wish to see a more detailed view. |

Much of the areas for further improvement have come from the engagement we have carried out this year. The improvements cover a wide range of issues including greater partnership working, improved presentation of the data via further development of the toolkit and including softer more qualitative information in our JSNA. |
